Before you begin
Have your email, password, and (if needed) server hostname. SmarterMail supports IMAP/POP/SMTP, EAS, EWS, MAPI so you can choose the best fit for each device.
Outlook on Windows (MAPI or EWS)
Open Outlook → Add Account → enter email.
If your plan includes MAPI/EWS, Outlook will pair natively for full calendar/contacts/tasks parity. (MAPI & EWS are server-wide licenses; EAS is per-mailbox.)
Tip: If MAPI/EWS aren’t enabled, select IMAP with your incoming/outgoing servers.
Outlook on Mac
Use EWS (preferred) or IMAP during account setup; both are supported by SmarterMail.
iPhone / iPad (Exchange ActiveSync)
Settings → Mail → Add Account → Microsoft Exchange → enter email → Configure Manually → server/username/password → Next. Choose Mail/Contacts/Calendars to sync.
Android (Gmail or Outlook app)
Add account → choose Exchange/ActiveSync (or IMAP). Enter server/username/password → accept security prompts.
Troubleshooting quick checks
Wrong password or server host? Re-enter and verify SSL/TLS options.
If mail syncs but calendars don’t, confirm you used EAS/EWS/MAPI instead of IMAP.
